Cancellation Policy

Guests will receive a full refund if canceled 48 hours before the tour starts. You can move the tour indefinitely up to 48 hours before the tour. If the booking is made within 48 hours before the start of the tour, you will not receive a refund. The cancellation policy is not applicable for deposits paid in case of marriage proposals, dinner cruises or other special tours. Guests will receive a full refund in case of cancellation by Romantic Amsterdam Tour due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. If there is another situation that prevents you from being present, please always contact us so that we can find a solution together. Cancellation Policy for Marriage Proposals:

1. Upon submission of your proposal booking, we will contact you within 48 hours.

2. After checkout, you have the option to add extras to your package if you wish.

3. After booking directly online, you have 48 hours (2 days) to cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit, unless the tour takes place within 72 hours after the booking. After this period, the deposit is non-refundable.

4. For proposal packages that involve a location other than a proposal held on a boat, the deposit will be 25% of the total cost or €500, whichever is greater, and it is non-refundable.

5. Your package total is refundable if you cancel 72 hours before your event, with a deduction for the non-refundable deposit.

6. Within 48 hours of your event, you can move your package to another date, complimentary.

7. If you have booked a venue or picnic proposal, there may be associated fees, and different rules may apply depending on the venue. We will always inform you of any additional fees or rules.

8. We reserve the right to cancel if the weather will affect your proposal. In this situation, you will receive a full refund.

Terms & Conditions Policy for Marriage Proposals:

The remaining balance will be charged directly to your credit card 2 days before your event.

Marriage proposal bookings and Dinner/Lunch cruises made within 5 days of the proposal event will incur a 10% surcharge for sudden prioritizing of the event. This surcharge is fully refundable within 48 hours of booking.

Liability and Insurance:

Romantic Amsterdam Tour and vendors associated are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during the proposal event and recommend that clients obtain appropriate insurance coverage if needed.

Changes to Proposal Details:

Changes to the proposal details, including any associated fees or restrictions, may involve additional fees associated with venues or musicians.

Client Responsibilities:

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, adhering to venue rules, and other relevant considerations.

Wow, this review is absolutely overdue!! Rocco was an incredible guide for this romantic tour. It was everything I hoped it would be. Soft music, yummy snacks, beautiful views and a private ride with a very knowledgeable captain who was able to tell me some history behind Amsterdam and why it's such a romantic city. we had such a lovely time. do not hesitate to book! it was worth every penny. perfect introduction to this amazing city!

I had a light festival tour on a small group tour with our skipper Glynn and it was absolutely amazing. Props to the skipper for making us feel welcome with snacks and drinks and giving us a wonderful walkthrough of all the different artworks.

The weather was super cold but the boat was well warmed enough and cozy for us to be able to enjoy the trip. 5 stars experience truly! 🙂

Fantastic boat ride with our skipper Scott! Our family took an evening boat ride through the light festival and Scott was able to share details of all the light installations but also tell us more about the city. He balanced it perfectly with guiding us while also leaving us time to chat amongst ourselves. We had a perfect evening and I couldn’t recommend this more. Finally, after the usual route to see all the light installations, we had some time left and he showed us a few hidden spots of the city by boat. 10/10 would recommend this tour with Scott.

Our tour boat on November 26,2025 was just so lovely. To be able to view the city and city lights from the canals was amazing, weather was chilly but clear and our tour guide Glenn was a wonderful guide with a bit of history and knowledge of the area gave us a great deal of information and appreciation for Amsterdam. Glenn was very warm and friendly and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this tour company and Glenn for a lovely ride through the canals

Thank you so much to Rocco and the team for such a wonderful experience! My partner (now fiancé!!) and I had a three and a half hour canal cruise on the Saloon boat and the Unlimited Love package. The email communication to arrange the evening was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our three course meals picked up along the way, and Rocco picked a perfect, quiet intimate canal for the proposal itself. We will fondly look back on this special day for the rest of our lives (and will regularly look back at the Polaroids!). For everything that was included I feel the price was very reasonable!

I worked with the Romantic Tours team for about 6 months to plan my proposal to be just the way I envisioned it. The entire team was very friendly, professional and helped me get every detail right. Ciska was very responsive and helped me think through additional details to make the day as special as possible. Skipper Scott was a true pleasure to be with on the boat. I was pretty nervous arriving to the boat, but his calm and lighthearted demeanor and fun stories helped calm my nerves immediately. Justina was our incredible photographer and helped capture each special moment and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. My new fiancé even told me yesterday was the best day of her life, which wouldn’t be possible without the team helping make it all possible. I cannot thank you all enough!!!

We really enjoyed our canal tour with captain Mare. She was funny charming and knowledgeable. The snacks and drinks on board were of high quality. We took an evening tour as the sun was setting so it made for nice lighting and no glaring sun to deal with. I recommend this tour to anyone who doesn't want to ride on a party boat.

The communication and planning were great, and we really enjoyed the Romantic Amsterdam Tour. However, we were unhappy with the photographer we were assigned—both the photos and editing didn't meet our expectations. When we brought this up, responses were slow, and we ultimately just asked for the RAW files. Surprisingly, we liked the polaroids more than the professional photos. If photography is a priority for you, I recommend asking in advance who your photographer will be.
