Wow, this review is absolutely overdue!! Rocco was an incredible guide for this romantic tour. It was everything I hoped it would be. Soft music, yummy snacks, beautiful views and a private ride with a very knowledgeable captain who was able to tell me some history behind Amsterdam and why it's such a romantic city. we had such a lovely time. do not hesitate to book! it was worth every penny. perfect introduction to this amazing city!

I had a light festival tour on a small group tour with our skipper Glynn and it was absolutely amazing. Props to the skipper for making us feel welcome with snacks and drinks and giving us a wonderful walkthrough of all the different artworks.

The weather was super cold but the boat was well warmed enough and cozy for us to be able to enjoy the trip. 5 stars experience truly! :)

Fantastic boat ride with our skipper Scott! Our family took an evening boat ride through the light festival and Scott was able to share details of all the light installations but also tell us more about the city. He balanced it perfectly with guiding us while also leaving us time to chat amongst ourselves. We had a perfect evening and I couldn’t recommend this more. Finally, after the usual route to see all the light installations, we had some time left and he showed us a few hidden spots of the city by boat. 10/10 would recommend this tour with Scott.

Our tour boat on November 26,2025 was just so lovely. To be able to view the city and city lights from the canals was amazing, weather was chilly but clear and our tour guide Glenn was a wonderful guide with a bit of history and knowledge of the area gave us a great deal of information and appreciation for Amsterdam. Glenn was very warm and friendly and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this tour company and Glenn for a lovely ride through the canals

Thank you so much to Rocco and the team for such a wonderful experience! My partner (now fiancé!!) and I had a three and a half hour canal cruise on the Saloon boat and the Unlimited Love package. The email communication to arrange the evening was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our three course meals picked up along the way, and Rocco picked a perfect, quiet intimate canal for the proposal itself. We will fondly look back on this special day for the rest of our lives (and will regularly look back at the Polaroids!). For everything that was included I feel the price was very reasonable!

We really enjoyed our canal tour with captain Mare. She was funny charming and knowledgeable. The snacks and drinks on board were of high quality. The communication and planning were great, and we really enjoyed the Romantic Amsterdam Tour. However, we were unhappy with the photographer we were assigned—both the photos and editing didn't meet our expectations. When we brought this up, responses were slow, and we ultimately just asked for the RAW files. Surprisingly, we liked the polaroids more than the professional photos. If photography is a priority for you, I recommend asking in advance who your photographer will be.

When is the best time to plan my Marriage Proposal in the Tulip Gardens Amsterdam

We recommend planning your marriage proposal in the tulipfields from mid-April until the end of April. The farmers predict the tulips will be in full bloom during this time. The tulip farms typically open in mid-March until mid-May and start offering tours then, so there will be tulips to see; however, their stages of bloom will vary. Please remember that weather conditions—whether the season is warmer or cooler—can affect the tulip blooms. We typically gain more insights during March, when we can visit the tulip fields and start planning. At this moment, the farmers and coordinators can give us more insights on the bulbs this year and what factors we can consider. Nature is unpredictable, but we do our best to accommodate based on what is available.

What is the cost & hours or the Marriage Proposal in the Tulip Fields?

Our packages start from €1200 for a 45-minute Private Marriage Proposal with a photographer. This is after closing hours and, therefore, not open to the public. It will be you and your partner, plus any vendors involved. Most vendors will keep their distance due to privacy, and you will be more likely to liaise with the photographer, the musician, or the videographer (if booked). The proposal after hours is a few hours before sunset when the light is very flattering, which creates a very romantic setting and stunning pictures. Please note that we can’t guarantee a sunset; for example, it could be too cloudy or rainy; however, the lighting transition from day to night is always beautiful for a photoshoot in the Tulip fields. We also offer a non-private proposal in the tulipgardens (package 1) where you can also propose during the opening hours of the Tulip farm and propose in the public area of the tulip farm (different from the private fields). However, please bear in mind that it is open to the public, but it tends to be quieter if you arrive between 09:00-11:00 in the morning.

Where is the Location of the Tulip gardens?

The tulip fields are located outside of Amsterdam. You can reach them by Uber, taxi, or public transportation. The car journey from Amsterdam takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
